Attn Residents of McKees Rocks: Columbia Gas of PA has been granted a permit for emergency gas line work in Kennedy Township, to close McKees Rocks Road between Heckel Road and Lincoln Avenue. This closure is expected to last at least a week, beginning 9 A.M. Friday, January 22, 2021.
Traffic will be detoured using roads within borough limits, including Chartiers Avenue, Singer Avenue, Broadway Avenue - as well as Pine Hollow Road and Heckel Road (Kennedy Twp.). Detour signs are posted, and the closure was approved by the county.
