Solid Waste Collection and Disposal and Recycling Services

The Borough of McKees Rocks (“Borough”) is now accepting sealed proposals for Residential Waste Collection and Disposal and Recycling Services.  Proposals and instructions may be picked up in-person at 340 Bell Avenue, McKees Rocks, PA 15136 during regular business hours or requested electronically at manager@mckeesrockspa.us. 

All proposals must be made on the Proposal Forms and be in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers contained in the Request for Proposals. Sealed proposals must be received by Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with two (2) originals clearly marked as “Solid Waste Collection and Disposal and Recycling Services” by personal delivery or USPS Mail to:

Proposals received after the deadline stated above will not be opened and shall be considered void and unacceptable.  Completed submissions must be in hand before the deadline. No submissions will be accepted by fax or email.

Bids may be awarded at the Tuesday, September 10, 2024 voting meeting of Borough Council held at 7:00 p.m. at the above referenced address.  The Borough reserves the right, as its interests may require, to reject any and all proposals, to waive irregularities in the submittal and evaluation process, and to accept the proposal deemed what in its judgment is the most advantageous to the Borough.
