The Bottoms is the section of town that is located along the Ohio River and lower than the rest of town.
The Bottoms is its own unique neighborhood, with many homes and churches, as well as stores and other businesses. You can get to the Bottoms by taking the Helen Street exit off the McKees Rocks Bridge or by taking River Road down from where Carson Street ends by the Plaza.
