The Father Ryan Arts Center (or Ryan Arts) is the largest community-based arts facility west of Pittsburgh.
The Arts Center features music practice rooms, dance studios, classrooms for learning, a cafe, an art gallery and a 130-seat theater. The Ryan Arts mission is to create opportunities for individuals and the community to be inspired, empowered and enlightened through the arts.
Each spring, summer and fall, low-cost classes and workshops in visual arts, theater, music, dance and literary arts are offered for children, teens, and adults.
A myriad of free and low-cost multicultural and intergenerational activities also take place at Ryan Arts year-round. These include an annual African American Arts Festival, open mic nights, our early childhood literacy event called Bedtime STOry ROX and seasonal performances. See what's happening now.
