Borough of McKees Rocks Sewer Tap-In Fee Connection Requirement Ordinance

NOTICE 

BOROUGH OF MCKEES ROCKS 

The Borough of McKees Rocks Council will hold a public meeting to consider adoption of an Ordinance, as titled and summarized below, said meeting to be held at the McKees Rocks Borough Building, 340 Bell Avenue, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania on the 11th day of February 2025 at 7:00 p.m.  

Title 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF McKEES ROCKS, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, ADOPTING A SEWER TAP-IN FEE CONNECTION REQUIREMENT, PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF A TAP-IN FEE AND OTHERWISE STATING FOR THE MANNER AND METHOD OF CONNECTION; AND PROVISION OF PENALITIES AND REMEDIES FOR VIOLATIONS. 

Summary 

The proposed Ordinance establishes a sewer tap-in requirements for all defined structures within the Borough.  The Ordinance establishes standards, requirements and fees associated with connections to the public sewer system.  The Ordinance additionally provides for enforcement mechanisms and penalties associated with non-compliance.   

A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be examined in the office of the Borough Manager at the Borough Building during normal business hours.
