The Borough of McKees Rocks is accepting sealed bids on the following vehicle:

2001 Chevrolet C6500 5 Ton Dump Truck with 18,992 miles. Body of vehicle is in fair condition. Vehicle specs: 8.1 L gasoline engine, 5-Speed manual transmission. All exterior/interior lamps and gauges working condition. Tires in good condition. Set up for 9-ft western snowplow and 8-ft hydraulic tailgate auger with 18-inch round salt spreader. The vehicle is being sold “As is.”  Needs inspected.

The vehicle can be viewed at the Borough of McKees Rocks Public Works Department 504 Robb Street McKees Rocks, PA 15136 Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Interested bidders can pick up a Vehicle Bid Form from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm at the Borough Manager’s Office 340 Bell Avenue McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Completed Vehicle Bid Forms should be forwarded to the Borough Manager, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Vehicle Bid.”

Sealed bids must be received by the Borough of McKees Rocks 340 Bell Avenue McKees Rocks, PA 15136 no later than Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM

Sealed Bids will be opened at 1:00 PM on April 13, 2021 via Webex virtual platform. Webex registration will be available on the borough website www.mckeesrockspa.us

Minimum bid accepted $4,500.00

The Borough of McKees Rocks will review all sealed bids, and the successful awarded bidder will be notified within 7 days. The awarded bidder will be required to take possession of the vehicle within 7 days of notification.  Certified bank check will be the only accepted form of payment.
