Attn Residents and Business Owners: Public Works will be concentrating on snow removal along Chartiers Ave (Business District) beginning 7AM on Friday, January 30, 2026. It is suggested to refrain from parking vehicles along the left side of Chartiers (heading from the City into McKees Rocks) for example, Roxian side/Post Office side - to allow Public Works access for snow clearing. Thank you

Attn Residents: Regarding Garbage and Recycling pickup for Friday 1/30 and Saturday 1/31, if you cannot access the alley way - place your trash and recycling in the front for easier retrieval. County Hauling will try it's best to recover everything that is out and accessible. Please share this message with your neighbors and friends of McKees Rocks.

January 27, 2026 Weather Update to Residents:

McKees Rocks Public Works Crew continues to work around the clock to clear and widen roadways and improve intersections from this weekend's snowstorm. Snow removal after an event of this size is a multi-day effort. We are still concentrating on the main roads and hills. Please note alley ways are considered secondary and will not get attention until the main roads, intersections and hills are clear.

We apologize in the event that snow plowing results in driveways/garages being blocked as there is nowhere to put the large amount of snow that has fallen.

Please be patient during this time of cleanup.

With the frigid temps that have settled in, please check in on neighbors and bring pets indoors.
