Waste Management Billing Notice to Residents - UPDATE 9/24/2019
The Borough of McKees Rocks will be issuing garbage bills through their contractor, Jordan Tax Service by October 1st. The first garbage and recycling bill will cover six months of service April through September. Residents will have 60 days to remit payment. The next bill will be generated on December 2nd for the 4th quarter (October through December) with 30 days to remit payment. All remaining bills will be generated at the beginning of the next quarter (for example: billed in January for January through March service) and due in 30 days. Late payments will be charged after the due date at 10 % interest and 6 % penalty rate per year.
The monthly fee for collections will be $22.84 per month. Jordan Tax Service will add 2% fee to their collections, totaling $23.30 per month.
