Updated 5/8/2025: Restrictions have been lifted: 3/27/2025: McKees Rocks Bridge Restriction Change Notice (effective March 31, 2025): Crews will be working within the center lane of the McKees Rocks Bridge.  The following restrictions will be in place:

McKees Rocks Bridge to northbound Route 65 and Brighton Heights Boulevard will be closed to traffic. All traffic from the bridge must turn right onto Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) in the southbound direction

Access to the McKees Rocks Bridge from Northbound Route 65 will be prohibited

Access to the McKees Rocks Bridge from Brighton Heights Boulevard will be prohibited

Southbound Route 65 traffic will be able to access the McKees Rocks Bridge

Detours posted will route motorists to use Route 51/West End Bridge/West Carson

These restrictions will be in place through mid-May.

2/10/2025: McKees Rocks Bridge Restrictions Notice

Please note the following updated schedule information for the McKees Rocks Bridge Improvement Project .As always, all work is weather dependent and any changes or updates to the schedule will be distributed accordingly.

Beginning tonight – Monday, February 10th and Tuesday February 11th  - There will be overnight lane restrictions on Route 3104 (McKees Rocks Bridge). Restrictions will include alternating single-lane traffic near the center of the Bridge and short-term intermittent traffic stoppages of 15 minutes or less to occur as needed Monday and Tuesday nights from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. in the City of Pittsburgh and McKees Rocks Borough, Allegheny County. (see attached press release). Crews will remove the median barrier and replace it with channelizers in preparation for the next phase of work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.
