Public Notice - Proposed adoption of Borough Ordinance - vacating a portion of unused and unopened public right of way, known as Pine Alley

The Borough of McKees Rocks Council will hold a public meeting to consider adoption of an Ordinance, as titled and summarized below, said meeting to be held at the McKees Rocks Borough Building, 340 Bell Avenue, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania on the 10th day of March 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

AN ORDINANCE OF COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MCKEES ROCKS VACATING A PORTION OF ONE UNUSED AND UNOPENED PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS PINE ALLEY (FORMERLY PLUM ALLEY), A TWENTY FOOT (20’) RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED BETWEEN PARCELS 43-L-188 and 43-L-210, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BOROUGH CODE, HAVING REQUIRED NOTICES TO BE GIVEN ACCORDING TO LAW.

Summary

The proposed Ordinance vacates approximately sixty feet (60’) of unopened right-of-way formerly known as Plum Alley and now referred to as Pine Alley.  The area is shown on the Plan of Chartiers Lots recorded in Plan Book 6, Page 287.   

A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be examined in the office of the Borough Manager at the borough building during normal business hours.
